Returns & Refunds Policy

At Sonshine Sea Moss, your satisfaction matters to us. We create small-batch, handmade sea moss gel and gummies using wildcrafted Golden and Irish Sea Moss from St. Lucia, organic fruits, agave, and natural, plant-based ingredients. Due to the perishable and handmade nature of our products, we have a strict but fair return and refund policy.


🚫 No Returns or Exchanges on Perishable Items

All sales of Sea Moss Gel, Gummies, and other edible or skincare items are final and non-returnable for health and safety reasons.
This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Opened or unopened sea moss gel

  • Gummies or supplement products

  • Skincare products made with natural ingredients

We cannot accept returns or exchanges on perishable goods due to the risk of tampering and contamination.


💸 Refunds & Replacements (Case-by-Case Basis)

If you receive a damaged or defective product, or if we made a mistake with your order (e.g., wrong item or missing item), please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with the following:

  • Order number

  • Clear photos of the product and packaging

  • Description of the issue

Once verified, we may issue:

  • A partial or full refund, OR

  • A replacement order at no extra cost

We reserve the right to deny refund or replacement requests if:

  • You failed to contact us within 48 hours

  • Product was left outside or unrefrigerated

  • Photos and proof are not provided

  • You entered an incorrect shipping address


📦 Lost or Stolen Packages

Once a package is marked as “Delivered” by USPS or UPS, we are not responsible for stolen, misplaced, or unclaimed deliveries.
Please contact the carrier to file a missing package claim. If you believe your package was stolen, we recommend checking with neighbors or filing a report with your local post office.


Cancellations

Because products are handmade fresh to order, we do not allow cancellations after your order has been processed or shipped.
If you need to cancel an order, contact us immediately after placing it at sonshineseamoss@gmail.com. If it has not been processed yet, we may be able to cancel and refund your purchase.

Sonshine Sea Moss products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
Individual results may vary. Please consult your healthcare provider before using dietary supplements.

Sonshine Sea Moss operates under South Carolina Cottage Food Laws, and all products are made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the Department of Health or FDA.
